Founded in 2000 with a vision of holistic, drug-free healing — today carried forward by a seven-member charitable trust and a team of senior physicians.
Cherian Ashram Holistic Centre was founded in 2000 by Mr. A J John & Mrs. Mary John — social workers with 15 years of international experience in health care — with a vision to provide holistic health, and to help the patients live a drug‑free life. A 7‑member Charitable Trust was formed in pursuit of happy healthy life for young and old. The founders, being members of the trust, were happy to have the trust take over the Holistic Centre hoping for excellence. The trust consists of eminent professionals including Doctors, Engineers, Medical Staff, Teachers and Social workers.
The centre has an individualistic approach of treatment wherein each patient is administered treatments on his/her entire individuality, combining required Allopathic, Ayurvedic & Siddha treatments along with Agnihotra, Yoga and meditation techniques.
The centre is located in a serene environment amidst total greenery. Being 500 meters away from national highway (NH220), the centre enjoys the merit of pollution‑free and noise‑free environment, as well as easy road accessibility.
The Ashram concept of the centre is a necessity for the young and old alike, as everyone is stressed in life. Homa farming and indigenous dairy rearing is practiced and promoted in our campus. We have a homely food court where organic farm products and our own dairy products are used, thus making our cuisine healthy and special.

The holistic centre is headed by Dr. C. P. Mathew (Retired Vice‑Principal, Kottayam Medical College). He is the Senior most Oncologist and Holistic physician in India. He, with his vast experience and research, deals with every patient with a holistic approach. Three senior doctors (Allopathic and Ayurvedic) work under his supervision.
