Our Services

Yoga & Meditation

Yoga and meditation have been part of Cherian Ashram's approach from the beginning — offered daily, and combined with Agnihotra rituals at sunrise and sunset for guests staying on campus.

Sessions are held in our dedicated yoga hall and are designed to support the body and mind alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it.

Daily Yoga Practice

Yoga sessions provide an opportunity to incorporate structured movement and mindful breathing into the daily routine. Practices are guided at a suitable pace, allowing participants to engage according to their physical abilities and comfort.

Meditation & Inner Stillness

Meditation provides dedicated time away from the demands of everyday life. Guided practices encourage quiet attention, conscious breathing and greater awareness, creating space for relaxation and reflection during a patient’s stay.

Mindful Breathing

Breathing practices can form part of the sessions, helping participants develop awareness of their breathing patterns while combining gentle physical activity with periods of stillness.

A Dedicated Space for Practice

Sessions take place in the centre’s dedicated yoga hall, providing a calm environment for regular practice. The setting allows yoga and meditation to become part of the daily rhythm of guests staying at Cherian Ashram.

Agnihotra at Sunrise & Sunset

For guests staying on campus, yoga and meditation are complemented by Agnihotra rituals at sunrise and sunset. These rituals are part of the centre’s long-standing daily routine and contribute to the spiritual and contemplative atmosphere of the Ashram.

Complementing Medical Care

Yoga and meditation are offered as supportive practices alongside the centre’s medical and wellness services. They do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment, but can form part of a broader approach to wellbeing during a patient’s stay.
